We Have Now Entered the THUNDERDOME ERA

Arguably, the WWE has been through 6 Era's, the Golden Era, The New Generation, The Attitude, Ruthless Agression, The PG, The Reality and now the 7th Era will be seemingly marked as the Empty Arena/Thundedome Era

THE GOLDEN ERA

THE GOLDEN ERA

The Golden Era of the WWE is marked by the likes of Hulk Hogan, Macho Man and the Ultimate Warrior and set the wrestling world on a collision course with Mainstream America. It was the Birth of Wrestlemania and the attention it created both grew the company and almost destroyed it.

THE NEW GENERATION

THE NEW GENERATION

Once the Old Gaurd left, the middle title workers had to step up to carry the company on their back and nobody carried this era more than Bret The Hitman Hart, Undertaker and the man who literally broke his back, Shawn Michales, which ended the Era in Heartbreak, a screwjob and tradgedy.

THE ATTITUDE ERA

THE ATTITUDE ERA

As the WWE was being drained of talent and destroyed in the ratings war, the height of frustration had spread thru the entire industry due to fierce competition but this only gave birth to the Rattle Snake, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and The Cerebral Assassin, Triple H. And putting Degeneration X and the NWO front and center.

RUTHLESS AGGRESSION

RUTHLESS AGGRESSION

After the WWE won the Ratings war and bought their competiton, there was a new breed of compeititors on the rise. Evolution, John Cena, Broc Lesnar and Edge carved out their names in history as well as the late Eddie Guerrero. But it all ended in a tragedy that set the wrestling world on fire.

THE PG ERA

THE PG ERA

WWE looking to clean up their image was heading toward going public. With John Cena as the face of the company, WWE moved to improve the women's divison and letting smaller guys like Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio be the main-event players.

THE REALITY ERA

THE REALITY ERA

Marked by the "Summer of Punk," the reality era sought to bring rawness and edginess back from the attitude and Ruthless era, as Broc, the Rock, Taker, and Evolution returned by addressing realistic issues between chracters and the company's relationship with the fans. This era also gave rise to The Shield and The Wyatts, and revolutionized the women's divison.

Story Arcs of...

Through the years many WWE superstars tell quite a telling story with their storybook careers. Find out how we analyzed the stories of some our favorite superstars.

CM PUNK

CM PUNK

CM Punk rose thru the ranks flauting his straight-edge persona, but when he become the voice of the voiceless about Cena being over-promoted, his popularity took off like rocket and seemingly over night, a superstar was born.

The Undertaker

The Undertaker

The Undertaker's career dates back for 3 decades spanning across all 6 eras of WWE history. Entering as the gravest threat to Hulkamania and then growing into the Phenom, Taker's Wrestlemania streak turned him into a legend.

Stone Cold

Stone Cold

After winning the King of the Ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin was born, a straight-talking, ass-kicking, bionic redneck who wanted to stomp a mud-hole in his boss's ass. But as his health became jepordized, Austin would make a deal with devil.

The Rock

The Rock

Rocky was a 3rd-generation, blue-chipper, but the WWE universe wanted him to die. However, when the Rock joined the Nation of Domination and then the Corporation, he rose to be a Champion; but when he become the People's Champion, he transcended into Mainstream Superstardom.

Batista

Batista

Batista under the guidance of Ric Flair aligned himself with Triple H in Evolution, but eventually it was Triple H who was standing inbetween him and superstardom. Batista beaome a champion and then a movie star, but in the end, there was still one man standing in his way, Triple H

Edge

Edge

Starting his carrer with his tag-team partner, Christian, Edge soon became the Rated R Superstar as one of John Cena's biggest rivals along with Randy Orton forming the legendary group RKO. However, after a career ending injury, Edge was sidelined for 10 years to only be betrayed by his long time friend.

1. THE FIEND WITH A BABY FACE RUN AS CHAMPION

The Feind is arguably one of the most intriguing and entertaining characters in the WWE, some would argue, he is the new Phenom. But like the Phenom, he has not had a long baby face run as the champion yet. The Undertaker didn't get his first baby face run until Wrestlemania 13, about 6 years after his debut. Hopefully, the fiend doesn't have that much longer to wait.

2. RANDY ORTON GETS CLOSER TO TYING WITH CENA AND FLAIR

What else does Orton have to accomplish in his career? He has seemingly done it all, but in the back of everyone's mind, we all know he could be the one to Break Flair and Cena's record. However, given how he has treated Flair, his attempt to break the record could cause Cena to re-ignite an old rivalry with Orton to stop his ascent.

3. DREW MCINTYRE VS. ROMAN REIGNS II

We know this rivalry is far from over, especially because of how Drew lost to Reigns in 2020. This rivalry has a big possibilty to turn into a trilogy that could compete with the Rock and Stone Cold's trilogy rivalry.

4. EDGE RETURNS AGAIN

At the some point, Edge is going to return in 2021 to finish off his rivarly with Randy Orton, but the question is, will this be the only reason that he will return or his he aspiring to accomplish one more championship run?

5. BOBBY LASHLEY GETS THE BIG BELT

It is time for Bobby Lashley to become a world champion. He has the physique, the talent and the right motivation. The question is how and who will he have to defeat to get it. A face turn could be possible, and he could take it from Roman Reigns or he could stay heel, when the Money in the Bank Ladder match and cash it in on Drew.

6. BIG E GETS THE BIG BELT.

Everything that is said about Bobby Lashley can be said about Big E. In fact, a Big E / Bobby Lashley collision could be in the future at some point in 2021.

6. KIETH LEE GETS A BIG BELT.

Everything that is said about Bobby Lashley and Big E can also be said about Kieth Lee, In fact, these 3 men are all headed to the top of the mountain at the same time.

7. JEY USO GETS AN IC TITLE RUN, TURNS FACE ON ROMAN REIGNS.

Jey Uso has definiely mounted up a lot of potential for his career at the end of 2019. Hopefully, he capitalizes on his momentum and eventually stands up to his cousin, turns face and captures a secondary title.

8. BECKY LYNCH RETURNS WITH SETH ROLLINS AS A PAIR OF SUPER HEELS.

We know both Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have taken a sabbatical because they are having a baby, and while the expectation is that Lynch will return as a baby face, it would be more intriguing to see her return with her husband as if you she has fallen under the spell of the Messiah.
