Where Does The Fiend Go Next?

After The Fiend's unexpected loss to Randy Orton at Wrestlemania due to the betrayal by Alexa Bliss, where does The Fiend go next?

According to many in the WWE Universe, the Fiend should not have lost to Randy Orton because he had already taken multiple losses to him previously and one of those losses were at Wrestlemania where he lost the WWE Championship.

So this match at Mania should have been the Fiend's redemption match against the Viper but it wasn't. So how are we supposed to take the Fiend as a serious threat to other WWE superstars if he can't exact his revenge on the man who literally caught him on fire and burned him to unrecognizable crisp?

While Orton has gone on to engage in a storyline with The Original Bro, Bray Wyatt has been sent back to the firefly funhouse promos, (basically back to the drawing board.)

The confusion of this is that Orton is seemingly taking on a different version of his personality as he has been somewhat unfashionably tolerant to Matthew Riddle, almost seemingly being fond of him, which is completely out of Orton's character.

This change in Orton would have made more sense had he been completely decimated by The Fiend at Mania.

Because, like how we have seen in the past to anyone else who loses to the Fiend, they seem to resort back to their debut personality. This would have meant that had Orton lost, he would have returned to the Randy he was when he first entered into the WWE, which was this wide-eyed, smiling youngster before Evolution turned him into the Legend Killer.

That version of Orton and The Original Bro might have a reason to team up.

Yet, this could still happen. It's not too late to go in this direction.

With Wrestlemania Backlash coming up or even the Pay Per View after, we could see The Friend return and completely destroy Orton causing Randy to change into something other than the Apex Predator character that he has been portraying since leaving Evolution.

This would give the Fiend the win and redemption he needs and maybe put him in contention for the World Title against Bobby Lashley at Summer Slam, which would be an incredible dynamic to watch.
